Gutenberg University Mainz is a unique place that has both scientific and aesthetic significance and offers an impressive variety of plant species from different climatic zones and regions of the world. The collection includes a variety of different plants, including rare and endangered species, which not only contribute to research but also to the preservation of biodiversity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A special feature of the garden is its function as a teaching and research facility. Students and scientists use the garden for botanical studies, ecological research and experimental projects. The various themed gardens, such as the medicinal plant garden or the rock garden, offer valuable insights into the use of plants in medicine and agriculture as well as the mechanisms of adaptation to different environmental conditions.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The botanical garden offers regular guided tours, workshops and events that promote interest in botany and environmental protection among young and old.
