The tasks are varied and the field of work also depends on your interests and skills. We are preferably looking for a junior staff member for the supervision of our library systems, i.e. for library applications and technology and in the area of media processing. Here your activities will fall into the areas of print and electronic media as well as open access publications. Other tasks include research data and publication services, information literacy and database training.

The Bachelor’s degree course lasts a total of 6 semesters (3 years).
The training takes place as a dual study program in cooperation with Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences.
The theoretical part of the program takes place at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences. During the lecture period, you will take the courses outlined in the module catalog and complete them successfully.
The practical training takes place at the University Library in Mainz. During the semester break, you will work there full-time and specialize in the content of your studies.
The examinations are usually offered at the end of the relevant courses.
